So…What is a Life Group?

Life Groups are your way to experience Christ Centered Community at Shepherd. These small groups exist to bring the people of our church together to experience encouragement, prayer, and support while we study the Bible! Our Bible studies are designed to follow the current sermon series that Pastor Dudley is teaching on.

What happens in a Life Group?

Groups gather weekly to further discuss the weekend sermon. Each Life Group series is accompanied by a brief video and a set of questions to guide our conversations and understanding of Scripture. By engaging together, groups get to know the Bible and each other more as they study together. Along with focused times of reading the Bible, groups are challenged to put into practice what they discuss and learn with the goal of living the best life God has for each of us. We are confident that you will be encouraged by the Lord, and your group, as you grow in faith!

Where do you meet?

Most of our groups meet in-person throughout the San Fernando, Simi, and Santa Clarita Valleys. There are a few groups that meet outside of these areas, but the majority meet within close range of a Shepherd Church campus. There are also groups that meet online using digital meeting applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, and Skype!

“We could all use a little bit more encouragement, support, and care from a Christ-centered community. Why not join a Life Group today?"
